This Privacy Policy explains how Review Any Tech("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit reviewanytech.com (the "Site"), create an account, post a comment, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

• Account information. If you create an account (e.g. to comment, bookmark articles, or apply as a contributor), we store your email address, display name, avatar, and authentication data via our backend provider, Supabase. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
• Content you submit. Comments, contributor articles/reviews, and contact form submissions, including your name, email address, and message content.
• Newsletter signups. Your email address, when you subscribe to our newsletter.
• Usage data. Pages visited, referring URLs, device and browser type, and approximate location (derived from IP address), collected automatically via analytics tools.
• Cookies and local storage. Used for authentication sessions, theme preference (light/dark mode), and analytics, as described below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and its features (accounts, comments, bookmarks, dashboard);
• Send newsletter emails to subscribers, and respond to contact form submissions;
• Moderate comments and content for compliance with our Terms of Service;
• Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve content and performance;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication (via Supabase Auth) and to remember your theme preference. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics tools and, where enabled, Google Analytics and/or Google AdSense, which use cookies and similar technologies to measure traffic and ad performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect sign-in and other features.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Google (YouTube Data API, Google OAuth, Google AdSense) — video content, sign-in, and advertising.
• Affiliate networks (e.g. Amazon Associates and similar programs) — used for product links in reviews. See our Disclosure page for details.

Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Newsletter subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained as needed to respond to your inquiry and for our records. You may request deletion of your data at any time using the contact details below.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing (for example, under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act). To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below — we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
