Sony Unveils WH-1000XM7 With Adaptive Noise Cancellation and 40-Hour Battery Life
The latest flagship headphones add real-time adaptive ANC tuning and a redesigned multipoint Bluetooth pairing system.
Sony has announced the WH-1000XM7, the latest entry in its flagship noise-cancelling headphone line. The headphones use a new processor that continuously adjusts noise cancellation in real time based on ambient sound and the fit of the ear cushions, a refinement of the adaptive system introduced in the XM6.
Sony also says battery life has improved to 40 hours with ANC enabled, and a redesigned multipoint Bluetooth implementation makes switching between paired devices noticeably faster. The WH-1000XM7 goes on sale later this month.
